The deadline for Stephen Byers decision over the London
Underground is now only a few weeks away and it'll be interesting
to see what he has to say for the tube's future.
With the recent news that Wembley is the first choice for the national
football stadium there is a lot of talk about the need to improve
the Wembley Park tube station (and few here would disagree).
What actual good will improving one station do though? It means
that the start and end of your journey will be in new, modern, state-of-the-art
(we hope) facilities, it's just the in-between bit that remains
the nightmare!
