FairComment.com
is the trading name for
FairComment Limited.
FairComment is an organisation dedicated
to championing the consumer's rights for fair play in relation
to goods or services purchased from, or agreements entered into
with, big businesses: in short, we are here, to empower the consumer.
FairComment's aims to provide an independent feedback mechanism
which offers value to both the consumer and to the business itself.
FairComment allows consumers, as Users
to the site, to register and to supply comments: praise, complaints,
problems, etc, about goods or services and about the performance
of the business in general.
Registration takes the form of you providing
a username and e-mail address and we will provide you with a password
so that you can login and interact with the site.
FairComment will review comments for accuracy
and appropriateness, and will put a selection of comments up on
the site next to the profiled company. FairComment reserve the
right not to publish a comment if it has evidence that the comment
is incorrect, abusive, defamatory or libelous.
FairComment will then provide the comments
supplied by the User to the businesses that enter into agreement
with us and invite them to respond to the comments raised. Any
response will be made available on the site.
If necessary, FairComment may ask you
to provide more information in order that we can greater champion
your cause with the business.
From time to time FairComment will poll
users on items of interest relating to products or services supplied
by the businesses profiled on the site. As a result we may ask
you for items of personal data, e.g. geographical location, financial
and lifestyle information, in order to better understand the concerns
of the consumer relating to a product or service. FairComment
will then share this information with the business.
If users to FairComment.com have comments
they wish to raise about FairComment itself we invite you to do
this through the FairComment Feedback page.

FairComment believes in free speech and a fair deal
and are here to provide a public forum for consumers to air views, praises,
complaints and general comment about businesses they purchase from.
A customer is more likely to provide heartfelt
comment within an independent, supportive environment and FairComment
actively encourage individuals to feel a part of this community so that
they and other members can lodge complaints and build a forceful presence
that is powerful enough to effect change.
We also believe that the consumer would like
to receive a response from the business they comment on and that the
business has the right to reply.
